2022 Africa Public Service Day Celebrations

The Chief Administrative Secretary Public Service, Madam Rachel Shebes this morning officially opened the 2022 Africa Public service day celebrations that kicked off at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre on behalf of the Cabinet Secretary Madam Margaret Kobia. The celebrations will run upto 23rd June when Kenya will join the rest of Africa Union member countries to celebrate the day.

This year’s celebrations are unique as they mark the end of His Excellency the President’s tenure (10) year term. The celebrations also include exhibitions and symposium.

The State Department for Planning is one of the Departments showcasing innovations on Public Service transformation guided by five thematic areas.The National theme for APSD is “Celebrating Public Service Transformation: Ten year Journey and beyond.”
