Economic Planning Principal Secretary James Muhati meets with Heads of SAGAs and Departmental Heads
Economic Planning Principal Secretary James Muhati on 22nd August met with Heads of SAGAs and SDEP Departmental Heads to validate the FY 2024/25 Performance Contract key priorities and activities/outputs for the State Department. PS Muhati said that the main purpose of the meeting was to deliberate on how to strengthen the National Planning function in terms of the State Department’s activities to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. He said that it was the responsibility of each to deliver 100% of the SDEP mandate. The PS also pointed that Annual Work Plans should inform the budget and not vice versa.
Among those present was the Economic Planning Secretary Timothy Gakuu, KIPPRA Executive Director, Dr. Rose Ngugi and NG-CDF CEO Yusuf Mbuno.
