Day 2 of the Annual Central Project Planning and Monitoring Units (CPPMUs) forum

Director,  Economic Development Coordination Directorate, Mr. Benson Kimani making a presentation on the roles and responsibilities of National Government Economists at the county level during the on-going Annual Central Project Planning and monitoring units forum at a  Mombasa hotel.

Mr. Kimani reiterated that the State Department for Planning will continue to spearhead capacity building of the County Governments on Economic policy and Planning.

The Directorate will also continue to coordinate the Intergovernmental and National Government Economic Planning functions as well as provide any support that will be required to ensure that the country is moving in the right direction in the achievements of the government economic priorities.
