National Development and Implementation Technical Committee (NDITC) Kwale County Visit

Planning PS Saitoti Torome was among the 14 members of the National Development and Implementation Technical Committee (NDITC) Team led by Energy PS Gordon Kihalangwa who visited Kwale County on 11-12/1/2022. The PSs were on a mission to assess the Government Development Projects in the County.
There were 14 Principal Secretaries assigned to Kwale County while the other members of the NDITC from various Ministries visited the other Counties in the Coastal Region to undertake the same assignment.

The NDITC Team inspected the progression of various projects in the area such as; Kinango- Kwale Road, the Pemba and Mwache mega Dams and treatment plants, the construction of Hostels at the Technical University of Mombasa, Special Economic Zones in Dongo Kundu, construction of the CBC classrooms in Ramisi Secondary School, Mwachande Bridge and approaching roads, Construction of Kenya Marine and Fisheries Research Institute and the ongoing Development of Kanana- Shimoni- Lunganga- Vanga- Mojereni road.

The NDITC PSs that visited the National Government Projects in Kwale County included, PS Kihalangwa, DHOPS Wanyama, SG Ogeto, PS Kitungu, PS Torome, PS Jerome, PS Irungu, PS Kaberia, PS Tum, PS Segor, PS Nabukwesi, PS Jwan, PS Sunkuli, Madam PS Fatuma among others.
