Principal Secretary State Department for Economic Planning James Muhati Familiarization Tour of the National Government-Constituency Development Fund

The Principal Secretary State Department for Economic Planning James Muhati made a familiarization tour of the National Government-Constituency Development Fund offices.

The National Government Constituency Development Fund (NGCDF) is established under the NG-CDF Act, 2015 as amended in 2016.

The main purpose of the Fund is to address socio-economic development of the people at the constituency level in order to reduce poverty and enhance regional equity.

The PS was briefed by Senior staff led by the Chief Executive Officer Yusuf Mbuno on the operations of the fund.

During the tour the PS was accompanied by Economic Planning Secretary Katherine Muoki, Director Administration, Joel Makori and Director Economic Development Coordination Directorate, Benson Kimani who is also the PSs representative in the board.
