Launch of The 2023-2027 NCPD Strategic Plan

Economic Planning Principal James Muhati, was the Chief Guest during the launch of the National Council for Population and Development Strategic Plan  2023-2027 which took place at the Kenya School of Monetary Studies.   The Council will focus on Four Key Result Areas namely; Population Policy and Programme Implementation, Population Research and Analysis, Population Advocacy and Public Education and Institutional. Strengthening.

The Principal Secretary was accompanied by the Economic Planning Secretary, Timothy Gakuu, Directors of Planning, Benson Kimani, Ezekiel Manyara, and Leah Chirchir who is also a Board member at the National Council for Populationand Development. Other Board members present included;  Pervin  Sigei, Jacinta Mutegi, Salat and NEPAD/APRM Chief Executive Officer, Amb. Samori Okwiya. The Board Chair is represented by Mr. James Kimonye and the host NCPD Director General Dr. Mohamed Sheikh.
