Kenya Economic Survey Report 2024 launched in Nairobi.

The Kenya National Bureau of Statistics (KNBS) today launched the Kenya Economic Survey 2024 at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre in Nairobi. The event was officiated by the National Treasury and Economic Planning Cabinet Secretary Prof. Njuguna Ndung’u.

According to the Survey, Kenya’s Real Gross Domestic Product expanded by 5.6 percent in 2023 compared to a revised growth of 4.9 per cent in 2022. The positive growth was notable among most sectors of the economy with the Agriculture, Forestry and Fishing sectors growing by 6.5 percent.

The economy is further projected to remain resilient in 2024 mainly supported by a robust services sector and strong performance in Agriculture.
