Mr  Eliud Owallo Presides over MTP IV meeting in Siaya county

Led the national government stakeholder sensitization meeting on the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) on 3rd  June 2024  in Siaya County .

The sensitization provided an overview of how MTP IV aligns with the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) and county-specific programs in MTP IV. Additionally, it covered the policies, programs, and projects the government plans to implement during the medium-term period.

Kenya’s Vision 2030 is being implemented through successive five-year Medium Term Plans. The Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) 2023-2027 is based on the Bottom-up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA), which aims at economic turnaround and inclusive growth.

Present at the meeting were Siaya County Commissioner Norbert Komora, officers from the State Department of Planning and the Siaya County Government plus representatives from all integral stakeholder segments of Siaya County.
