CORRECTIONAL SERVICE FETES OFFICERS FOR EXEMPLARY PERFORMANCE
Economic Planning Principal Secretary, James Muhati yesterday evening, 24th October, 2024, joined the Cabinet Secretary for Tourism and Wildlife, Rebecca Miano and colleague Principal Secretaries at the Gala Dinner Awards hosted by the State Department for Correctional Services. The Dinner marked the climax of the three-day Correctional Service Week 2024 Conference themed “Mental health and wellness for effective Service delivery”.
At the Gala Dinner, the State Department for Correctional Services also recognized and awarded its officers for their dedication, resilience and exemplary performance in rehabilitating, reforming and safely reintegrating offenders back into society.
These prestigious awards were not only meant to acknowledge past achievements but were equally designed to serve as a source of encouragement for the officers to continue striving for excellence.
