CS, CPA John Mbadi Ng’ongo presides the launching of the Budget Preparation Process for the FY 2025/26 and the Medium Term Plan at the Kenyatta Convention Centre (KICC).

The National Treasury and Economic Planning launched the Budget preparation process for the FY 2025/26 and the Medium Term Plan at the Kenyatta International Convention Centre. The occasion was graced by the Cabinet Secretary CPA John Mbadi Ng’ongo.

The Budget making process is guided by the 2010 Constitution and the Public Finance Management Act, which requires Public participation on all Public finance matters.

In addition, the Cabinet Secretary launched the Budget Guidelines, National Government and County Government Budget Manuals.

Present during the launch were Hon. Ndindi Nyoro, Chairperson, Budget and Appropriation Committee in the National Assembly, Chairperson of the Council of Governors, Gov. Anne Waiguru, Principal Secretaries Dr. Chris Kiptoo and James Muhati among other dignitaries.
