Induction workshop for the newly employed Economists/Statisticians
The National Treasury and Planning Chief Administrative Secretary Eric Simiyu Wafukho officially opening the induction workshop for Economists/Statisticians at the Kenya School of Government on behalf of the Cabinet Secretary Amb. Ukur Yatani. The workshop that began today will run up to 26th November 2021.
Out of the 200 officers recruited, 194 joined the service. The ninety four being inducted this week have been drawn from the State Department for Planning headquarters and a select State Departments and Ministries and some deployed at National Planning Offices at the County level. The remaining officers will be inducted next week.
The induction workshop aims at equipping officers with requisite knowledge and skills necessary to enable them effectively execute their mandate.
Present during the occasion were the Principal Secretary State Department for Planning, Mr. Saitoti Torome, Principal Secretary, State Department for Public Service, Madam Mary Kimonye, Economic Planning Secretary Madam Katherine Muoki, Human Resources Management and Development Director Madam Mary Kemunto and the Director Administration Mr. Joel Makori among others.
