Kennedy is the Director, Administration in the State Department for Economic Planning, The National Treasury and Economic Planning.
He holds a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) with a specialization in Strategic Management and Bachelor of arts degree from the University of Nairobi. He has attended various leadership, professional and performance improvement courses including contemporary Public Administration management course from Galilee International Management Institute, Israel and Strategic Leadership Development Programme from Kenya School of Government.
Mr. Kimuyu is a seasoned public service professional with over 28 years of distinguished experience, backed by a wealth of expertise in public administration and strategic management. He has worked in various MDAs with the recent deployment prior to his current posting being the Director, Administration in the State Department for ASALs and Regional Development; and earlier as Director, Corporate Services/Central Facilitation Services at the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions.
He is variedly skilled and committed to achieving organizational goals through strategic vision and effective management practices.
