Official Opening of MDAs Training on E-NIMES

Official Opening of MDAs Training on E-NIMES

“Embracing technology is the panacea to achieve faster growth. SDEP has leveraged use of technology through development of an electronic system (e-NIMES) to capture, process, store and share data on implementation progress and achievements of various projects and programmes.”

Economic Planning Secretary, Katherine Muoki said this as she officially opened the ongoing MDAs training workshop on E-NIMES in Nakuru County this morning.

Mrs. Muoki pointed out that M&E is an essential component in tracking the progress of the Fourth Medium Term Plan (MTP IV) 2023-2027 which is anchored on the Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda (BETA) geared towards economic turnaround and inclusive growth.

As a government priority, training of E-NIMES to MDAs will allow them upload planned projects, targets, indicators, update progress periodically and generate quality and timely reports. The EPS encouraged participants to master the BETA Pillars, value chains & sectors to support their MDAs in aligning their priorities with the MTP IV which will be completed soon and ready for implementation.

On arrival, the EPS was received by the SDEP Monitoring and Evaluation Director, Aloyce Ratemo.
