Principal Secretary, James Muhati Convenes a meeting with the Communication teams from the State Department and it’s SAGAs

The Economic Planning Principal Secretary, James Muhati on Tuesday, 25th February, 2025 convened a meeting with the Communication teams from the State Department and it’s SAGAs at the Treasury Building.

The meeting discussed the significance of a collaborative communication approach to strengthen the National Development Agenda.

” I am committed to strengthening the National Development Planning function in order to make it more effective and efficient. Proper communication will ensure that Kenyans have equal rights and access to public resources”, PS Muhati said.

PS Muhati further emphasized on the imprtance of communication in informing the public on the State Department’s mandate and achievements. This will ensure that Kenyans are enlightened and updated on the achievement of national development goals.

The meeting proposed a raft of measures, including enhancing digital platforms, raising awareness of BETA activities, and adopting a collaborative communication approach. These initiatives aim to improve the efficiency of the State Department’s communication.

In attendance were: Economic Planning Secretary, Timothy Gakuu, Communication teams from SDEP and its SAGAs.
