PS Briefing on MTP IV

The Economic Planning Principal Secretary James Muhati was this morning briefed by the Macro – Economic and International Coordination Directorate on the Progress made on the preparations and finalization of the MTPIV 2023-2027. This will be the next five year plan which will guide the government on the implementation of the Kenya Vision 2030 Blueprint whose period is coming to an end soon. This MTPIV is the second last to be implemented after the successive first, second and third MTPs. It will be the first one to be implemented under the Kenya Kwanza Government whose Manifesto has been incorporated and awaiting the necessary approvals for onward transmission to the grand launch once ready. Present during the briefing was the EPS Katherine Muoki and several Directors from various Directorates.
