PS meets Planning staff working in the counties
The Economic Planning Principal Secretary, James Muhati held a, ‘Meet and Greet‘ meeting with the National Government County Planning officers in Mombasa last evening. This was arranged as a side event meeting during the Workshop on the alignment of the CIDPs to the Kenya Kwanza Administration Bottom-Up Economic Transformation Agenda.
The PS is keen to work closely with the officers on the ground. These Economists are the key drivers of the National Government Planning function, Monitoring and Evaluation of Government Projects and Programmes, Data collection and protection in the Counties.
They also forge relationships by continuously collaborating with various government departments and agencies in driving the development agenda.
Moving forward, the team will be very instrumental in helping the government deliver on the new Bottom -Up Economic Model.
