Migori County NGAO Officers Trained on Grassroots Data Management

Mr. Collins Oloo from World Governance Consulting Firm took the Migori NGAOs team through some of the sessions earmarked for  the ongoing training on grassroots data management and the linkage  between grassroots data and evidence based planning.

Mr. Oloo stressed that lack of timely and accurate data leads to misplaced resource allocation and therefore, data should not be misrepresented. “You should not report your wish of how the situation should be but represent the actuality on the ground,'' Mr. Oloo stressed.

He asked the NGAO officers to guard against unauthorised access to information as some of the information they collect is very personal and private saying that they should also guard it against any potential infiltration
