Overview
The Directorate is responsible for the overall Strategy, Coordination and Management function. The functions of the Directorate entail:

- Coordination of development, implementation and review of SDEP Strategic Plan
- Coordination of Performance Management in the State Department
- Coordination of Resource Mobilization Strategy
- Coordination of Risk Management Framework
- Oversee the preparation, implementation, and reporting on the State Department's Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) Budgets
- Coordination of re-engineering of the economic planning function
- Coordination and management of CPPMDs across MDAs
